What are your top 3 priorities for the District in the next 4 years?

IMO the first priority would be working to hire a district manager. As the SRCD grows, the board should work together with this manager, as well as input from their constituency, to form their vision. Once the board identifies their vision, mission and goals, the district manager needs to facilitate making it happen, while being fiscally responsible with the funds that are being collected. The district manager should also seek grants and funding opportunities that may be available to the SRCD. Another priority should be that the SRCD provide education to area real estate companies on what their function is and how it relates to home ownership at Snowshoe. Priorities should also include working with the committee to rewrite and clarify areas of the statute that governs the SRCD. The SRCD is positioning itself to build a sustainable foundation with a focus on enhancing this mountain community for generations to come.
