Discussion and/or Action Propose Legislation Change to RAD Statute
The proposed change to the RAD statute will enable the RAD Board of Directors to authorize retail alcohol and wine sales in the District. Pocahontas County is a dry county with the exception of the 2 incorporated towns, Marlinton and Durbin. This would allow the Board of Directors to decide if there should be retail alcohol and wine sales within the district while Pocahontas County remains a dry county.
