Message from Snowshoe Resort regarding Internet and Phone Outage

As we continue to prepare for the upcoming winter season, we wanted to make you aware of a planned internet/phone outage currently scheduled to begin on Monday, October 17th. We are coordinating with CityNet to ensure that the network is restored as quickly as possible, however we do expect the outage to last up to two days as we work to transfer our IT infrastructure to a new facility. CityNet will contact its customers with more specific information regarding their services. The outage is expected to impact all Snowshoe-managed businesses as well as CityNet customer properties north of Shavers Center. Emergency Services: The person reporting the emergency can either: • Go directly to Shavers Fork Fire & Rescue for assistance • Get to an area where you have cell service and call 911 Reservations: Our website will be operable, and our call center will be open and available at 1.877.441.4386. We will be accepting lodging and season pass reservations throughout the outage. Lift tickets & activity sales will not be available from Monday, October 17th – Wednesday, October 19th. However, we will be able to quote pricing and provide call back services. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to get ready for another amazing winter season here at the ‘Shoe.
