This is Randy Light, one of the candidates for the Central District Residential Improved Property board positions. I have been coming to Snowshoe for over 40 years, and participated as part of the community from various perspectives including as a skier, snowmaker in the late 1970’s, and homeowner since 2004. In my off-mountain life, I have been a Iawyer in central West Virginia for over 35 years, working primarily in real estate and commercial transactions. I have been a co-owner of an Allegheny Springs unit since 2009. I would like to see Snowshoe continue to improve, and believe that one of the biggest challenges for the District will be obtaining active, independent representation from the various District stakeholders. While all stakeholders need to work together to promote the mountain, it is important that homeowners have an active voice on the board so their perspective is considered, represented, and heard. I would appreciate the opportunity to represent that group on the board.
