At its May 8, 2020 Board meeting, the Snowshoe Resort Community District voted to make $10,000 in grants available to community entities needing assistance in providing PPE to re-open in accordance with State of West Virginia guidelines. Grants will be for a maximum of $500 each and will be available to any organization or entity – educational, commercial or residential – located within the boundaries of the Snowshoe Resort Community District. These are not loans and do not need to be repaid but should be used to offset the expense of providing PPE to receive customers/guests/students back to your facility.
ELIGIBILITY
Entities eligible would include but not necessarily be limited to:
· Restaurants
· Daycare Center
· Library
· Retail establishments
· Condominium complexes with enclosed common space where there is little to no exterior access to each unit
These grants are not intended for individual homeowners.
APPLICATION
Applications must be submitted on the attached form and must originate with and be signed by the owner or general manager of the applying facility. All requested information must be included along with a detailed description of how the grant will be used. All applications must be received by June 1, 2020, and will be considered in order of receipt.
